TibaToes™ Little Chefs Halloween Cookbook

Look through the steps together and choose the tasks that are suitable for your child. Counting an ingredient or mixing with help gives them a part in making the food. Adults handle every hot, sharp and electrical task.

How it helps

• Practise following steps through shared kitchen projects. The recipe sequence provides a practical example of first, next and last.
• Give children suitable jobs in real food preparation. Marked child and grown-up jobs help you divide the activity appropriately.
• Build counting and food vocabulary while cooking together. Naming ingredients and measuring together gives numbers and vocabulary a useful setting.
