How it helps

• Practise two-hand coordination through pretend cutting. Steadying a food piece while moving the toy knife gives children a reason to coordinate both hands.
• Explore matching by joining food pieces back together. Compare the cut halves and reconnect the matching pieces for another round.
• Build everyday vocabulary through kitchen role play. Name ingredients, take an order or describe what is cooking. Shared role play gives those words a purpose.

What's included

• Pretend food, a toy knife, and a toy chopping board. Food selection depends on the option chosen.

How to use and care

• Use under direct adult supervision. Small-part activity toys are not suitable for children under 3 unless the product packaging specifically states otherwise. Keep pieces away from any child who still mouths small objects.
